Which color profile should I use?

Color profiles determine the color space of a color input or color reproduction device. Color profiles are called ICC profiles and describe the size of the color space that a certain device (printer, scanner, monitor, digital camera) has and how the colors are displayed in it. Without an ICC profile, the colors of the individual devices are always interpreted differently.
Since most devices have a RGB color space which can display more colors than the CMYK color space, a corresponding ICC color profile is required in your print data for printing. Using the profile, the colors can be converted so that the colors are printed as close to the original as possible.
We use the ICC profile ISOcoatedv2 300% for printing. This not only converts the colors as close to the original as possible, but also regulates the ink application to 300%.
