The T-shirt is particularly suitable for textiles made of 100% cotton and mixed fabrics (depending on the ink with up to 50% polyester content). Printing on light textile colors is not a problem, as no "under white" is required. For dark textiles, a white underlay is used, similar to screen printing. The advantage of direct textile printing (DTG) is the flexibility to print textiles individually, e.g. with individual names, as well as the high level of detail in photorealistic prints and the cost-effective production.
